Alpkit are a UK-based outdoor gear company making quality, affordable stuff that works great and looks cool. They’ve provided a down jacket and snow ankkors for the winter bike trip.

Airtrim, a Swedish company, make breathing filter masks that recover the heat and moisture from exhaled air, so when you breathe in, it protects your air passages from the cold. Especially important for long periods of activity in sub-zero temperatures, like 3 months in Siberia!
Camp Ripan of Kiruna have kindly agreed a place for us to stay on our arrival, before we set off on our winter bike-ride through northern Sweden, Finland and Norway. Swedish hospitality at it’s best!
