There is a lot of wildlife in Botswana. Lots of it is in the national parks, but there’s plenty on the roads too…
To be honest, I haven’t been doing a huge amount of cycling… I went by 4×4 onto the Magkadigkadi salt pans and saw huge herds of zebra and wildebeest, which traverse the pans this time of year finding water.
And now I’m relaxing by the pool, at the lovely Gweta Lodge, with the friendly Terry, Helen and all the staff. Oh, and the food is great – which as always I am consuming in huge quantities. So it’s back on the bike tomorrow towards Maun and the Okavango Delta to burn some calories and see some more of this beautiful, friendly country.
Helen, thanks for sharing those wonderful views. You have been busy.I have a new calendar up of course with some of your older photos. Keep it going.
Regards
Clive
Great photos Helen.

Hi Helen, Glad you got to Gweta in good time! We asked the owner of Nata Lodge, who we bumped into after you’d left, and apparently that lioness we were chatting about at dinner is suspected of having rabies. Hence the lunacy.
Love your photos.

I’m certainly no poet,
and as a picture can say a thousand words, so it’s
best if I stick with taking photos
and leave the pen for now, I suppose….
