Photos of Zion National Park

The great thing about Zion NP is that you can cycle through some of the amazing scenery. We entered through the east gate and cycled to the junction and up to Zion Lodge one afternoon before returning to Springdale to camp for the night. The following morning we cycled back up to Zion Lodge where we left the bikes.

We walked to the Emerald Pools (although the upper one was a bit disappointing), then took the Kayenta trail and continued on to Angels Landing (which was fantastic).

On returning to our bikes we cycled out of the park, through Springdale and Rockwell and found a great spot where you can camp for free at one of the trailheads.

[...] Finally Zion National Park. Beauty abound, appreciated again from the bike saddle. Cliffs and towers, canyons and caves, verdant lowlands valleys with yellow leaves of the cottonwoods falling with the wind, cascades drip from high above and form pools reflecting the many autumn colours. And a hike up to Angels Landing for 360 degree views from vertigo-inducing heights. Zion National Park Fall Colours, Zion NP [...]
