First we followed a bike path from Bryce Canyon, running along highway 12 through the Red Canyon. From there it was through a relatively lowvalley and on to Zion National Park. We cycled through the park and then took the road to Las Vegas.
But in St. George, where a sign forbid bikes on the interstate, we found an alternative route. Through state land on gravel road. Slowly. Along the Joshua Tree and Mohave Desert scenic byway. Until we hit Mesquite where we discovered we could now ride the freeway hard shoulder. And so we sped our way into Las Vegas.
What a contrast from where we’ve been!!
