Glad to be leaving Las Vegas, it was a dull day down the interstate to the California border. From there, we cycled through the Mohave desert, crossed old Route 66 and then crossed the Joshua Tree National Park. The last stretch took us along the Salton Sea, on a blustery day thanks to the yearly Santa Ana winds, and finally we arrived in El Centro, just a few miles from the Mexican border…
For those who want to see my photos of Bryce Canyon and Zion National Parks and the road to Las Vegas on Flickr, see here.
And don’t forget that Lars is still writing a blog (in Swedish) as the Lost Cyclist.
I was snooping around your photostream again. You sure do know how to take beautiful pictures
Thanks Sean! I was thinking the same of your photos! Nd apologies for get your nationality wrong… I’ll blame Lars who mistook the flag on your bike!
Nice picutures Helen, I think I like your technique of skewing the horizon, makes for interesting pictures sometimes. I need to get off always using the 2/3 rule.
